1. Who we are and what these terms cover
The website coyote.finance and the web application available on it ("Coyote", the "Service") are operated by Coyote Finance, Milan, Italy ("we"). By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. The Privacy Policy is part of these terms.
2. What Coyote is, and is not
Coyote is an information and self-reflection tool. It shows what a coin would be worth at another coin's market cap, computes an expected multiple from targets and probabilities that you enter, keeps a journal of trades that you record, and produces statistics and, on request, a written review generated by an artificial intelligence model.
Coyote does not provide investment advice, financial advice, tax advice or portfolio management. We are not an investment firm, a financial advisor or a crypto-asset service provider under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA) or under Italian law, and nothing in the Service is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Every number in Coyote depends on assumptions you choose, on market data supplied by third parties, and on simplified formulas described in the app. Past or hypothetical results do not predict future results. Crypto-assets and leveraged trading can lead to the loss of all the money involved. Any decision you take remains yours alone, and you should consider seeking advice from a qualified professional.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- What If can be used without an account. The Journal, saved portfolios, the AI review and the X connection require an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts by automated means.
4. Your content
The notes, trades, targets and other content you enter remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and display them back to you and to provide the features you use (including sending your closed trades to the AI provider when you ask for a review, and publishing to X when you ask). You must not enter content that is unlawful, that infringes third-party rights, or that contains other people's personal data without their permission.
5. Posting on X
If you connect your X account, Coyote publishes only what you see in the preview and only when you press the post button. You are the author of each post and responsible for it under X's terms. You can disconnect X at any time in Settings; this revokes our access.
6. AI review
The written review of your journal is generated automatically by a language model from the data you recorded. It may be incomplete, mistaken or misleading. It is provided for your reflection only and is not advice of any kind. A daily limit per account applies.
7. Market data and third-party services
Prices, market caps and supplies come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. We do not verify them and we are not responsible for them. The Service depends on third-party providers (hosting, database, AI, market data, X) and may be unavailable when they are.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: interfere with or overload the Service; attempt to access other users' data or our systems; scrape or bulk-extract data beyond normal personal use; reverse engineer or resell the Service; use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
9. Free service, changes and termination
Coyote is currently free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we may introduce paid features in the future; existing free features will not be charged retroactively. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close accounts that are inactive for more than 24 months after notice by email.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, its name, logo, design, code and texts belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Coin names and tickers belong to their respective owners.
11. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the Service, including trading losses, loss of data or loss of profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence (Article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code) or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Where you use the Service as a consumer, the mandatory protections of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) apply.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers residing in Italy, the competent court is the one of the consumer's place of residence or domicile. For all other disputes, the courts of Milan have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers residing in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced in the app at least 15 days before they apply; continued use after that date means acceptance.
